Why should you do an engagement session? I believe having an engagement session is important for several reasons. First, this time allows you , as a couple, to get comfortable in front of the camera with me. On a wedding day we have limited time for creative portraits, so by doing this session you can get all the awkward nerves out of the way so on your wedding day you feel more confident. Next, you can showcase your personalities in a more casual setting, while creating some fun, memorable images for wall portraits, a guestbook, session album, and save the date cards. I love seeing engagement photos at the wedding as part of the décor. I often see photos on the gift table or on display around the room.
