This little lady was pretty in pink in our newborn photography studio in Manchester NH! Because pink is one of the most common go-to colors for baby girls, we tend not to use it to often, but once in a while, we just can’t resist. Like any color there are so many different shades and hues, so how do we decide which ones to use? When photographing newborns, we often pick a color, and then stick to shades of that color that are light and pale, and if we do throw in a darker color, we make sure its one that isn’t overly strong or saturated. Babies are warm, soft, light, and snuggly, so we like to pick and match colors for their session that convey those moods and feels.
